The Institute for Health & Wellness (IFHW) is committed to supporting the physical, social and emotional development of young people. The IFHW, therefore, provides programming covering the 8 dimensions of wellness – physical, emotional, social, environmental, intellectual, spiritual, financial, and occupational – to ensure optimal health. Additionally, we work with the community coalitions to provide programs and events that help to increase access to health & wellness services and resources.
Greetings Wellness & Volunteer Partners,
Due to inclement weather conditions that have been forecasted for tomorrow and throughout the weekend, we have no choice but to cancel the Family Fun Wellness event on 9/23 at Tibbits park.
We understand the time and effort that you and your team have invested in preparing for this festival and genuinely appreciate your commitment to making it a success. Therefore, we are actively working on rescheduling the event to ensure that your efforts do not go to waste.
Currently, we are exploring alternate dates and venues that are more suitable for accommodating the festival while avoiding the adverse weather conditions. Our top priority is to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants, including our valued partners like yourself. We will keep you updated as we make progress in securing an alternative date and venue. We anticipate having more information in the coming weeks to ensure a successful event..
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. We value our partnership and are eager to work together to make the rescheduled Wellness Festival a resounding success.
Have a great weekend and stay safe!
